During this first quarter of 2020, what would have been a kick-off to mark the beginning of a year of celebratory events, we find ourselves grappling with a pandemic of epic proportions. We hope and pray that you are keeping safe and following the protocols and guidelines set forth by our government and the CDC, to help combat and stop the spread of COVID-19.
As we press our way through this time of uncertainty and practicing Social Distancing guidelines, Girl Power will begin virtual learning to ensure that our girls feel empowered, safe, and remain connected to the services they have come to rely on.
I would like to thank our friends and supporters who have been with Girl Power since the beginning of our early days. A special thanks to those of you that became our champions, partners, made referrals, and believed in the power of investing in girls. Thanks for your efforts, friendship, contributions, love, support, understanding, inspiration and encouragement.
