A Team of Visionary Leaders

Girl Power Rocks proudly announces the recent appointments to its Board of Directors, introducing an esteemed group of leaders who bring diverse expertise and a shared commitment to advancing the organization's mission of empowering young girls.


Stephanie Jones - Board Chair: Stephanie Jones, a native of Miami, is an author and healthcare executive at Convey Health Solutions, serving as the Chief Operating Officer for the $400 million Fort Lauderdale-based business. Born and raised in Liberty City, Stephanie and her husband actively support philanthropic causes in the Miami community, including Girl Power.


Aisha Mannings - Vice Chair: Aisha has served on the board for eight years, leading Girl Power’s Marketing & Community Engagement Committee. She is a Senior Revenue Manager at Celebrity Cruises of Royal Caribbean Group, with extensive experience in Revenue Management, Sales Strategy, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, & IT Business Solutions. Aisha is a mentor to young teens and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.


Michaele Rachlin - Secretary: Michaele Rachlin previously served as Board Chair and currently leads the Mama Hattie’s House committee, supporting the capital project for Girl Power’s future new residence for at-promise girls aging out of foster care and girls at risk of sex trafficking. Michaele founded MDR Management Consulting, providing project management and capacity building services, building thriving organizations and mentoring non-profit leaders.


Laudy Luna – Treasurer: Laudy is a managing partner at CRL Law Group, specializing in commercial litigation and bankruptcy law. She has served as Girl Power’s treasurer and on the finance committee for several years.


Michele Edwards-Collie – New Board Member: Michele Edwards-Collie, Senior Vice President and Director of Community Reinvestment at City National Bank of Florida, brings over 30 years of banking experience, specializing in down payment assistance and homebuyer education. An ordained Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Michele actively serves her community. Misty Brown- Board Member: Misty Brown is returning to our board of directors, bringing dynamic advocacy for youth development. With experience working for elected officials on all levels of government and as a consultant for municipalities, Misty joins the board with a passion for creating positive change in the lives of young girls.
