Welcome to Girl Power Rocks, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering "at-promise" girls aged 11 to 17. As a 501(c)(3) entity, we focus on prevention and intervention strategies that foster positive behaviors, enhance social skills, and promote academic success. Since our founding in 2000, our mission has been to inspire confidence, competence, and pride in at-promised girls.
At Girl Power Rocks, we offer a range of programs and workshops designed to educate and empower. Our resources tackle critical issues such as substance abuse, low self-esteem, and educational challenges, equipping girls with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.

Join us at the Coral Gables Country Club for a milestone gala designed to inspire and uplift. This special event will bring together supporters, community leaders, alumni, and advocates for youth empowerment in celebration of everything Girl Power Rocks stands for.
From life-changing mentorship and educational programming to leadership development and mental wellness support, your participation helps fuel a mission that has changed lives since 2000.
This year, our goal is to raise $300,000 to expand our reach and deepen our impact in 2026 and beyond.

It fills me with immense pride to lead an organization that has profoundly impacted the lives of countless at-promised girls and their families. At Girl Power Rocks, my foremost commitment is to protect, nurture, and uphold the integrity and moral consciousness of the future women leaders, caregivers, and educators in our society.
Too many girls arrive at our doorstep feeling broken, misguided, and neglected. Girl Power Rocks stands as a beacon of hope, offering a sanctuary where they receive unwavering support, guidance, counseling, and unconditional love—always with a ready listening ear. This work has been my deepest joy and proudest achievement.

This curriculum has a unique theme and is loaded with weeks of skill-building activities and discussions that build on protective factors and improves relationships in a format that interests and engage girls.

As this academic year comes to a close, we proudly celebrate a powerful milestone: 25 years of empowering, educating, and uplifting girls across Miami-Dade County. [ @miamidadecounty ]
Since 2000, Girl Power Rocks has been committed to nurturing today’s girls and building tomorrow’s leaders through programs that go beyond the classroom.
This year alone, our After School Program offered:

📓 Journal writing & life skills workshops
⚽ Sports, field trips & college tours
👑 Etiquette lessons & supportive parent groups
And through our evidence-based Girls Intervention Program Plus (GIPP) and Sister Circle Mentoring, we’ve helped girls develop confidence, resilience, and critical life skills to overcome personal challenges and thrive.
