As part of Girl Power Rocks The Runway, The Art of Storytelling: Soul Basel Edition brought together art, fashion, and creative expression to honor culture, confidence, and community. Set against the vibrant energy of Miami Art Week, this immersive experience celebrated storytelling as a powerful tool for empowerment, placing the voices and creativity of our girls at the center of the narrative.
Storytelling Through Art, Fashion, and Expression
The event spotlighted the brilliance of the girls we serve alongside the bold visual storytelling of featured artists Lavish Looney and Art by Ant. Their vibrant work transformed the space with striking portraits, dynamic color, and movement, creating an atmosphere where creativity sparked conversation, reflection, and pride.
From expressive art installations to fashion-forward moments and live creative experiences, the afternoon demonstrated how storytelling can be expressed beyond words. Each element reflected resilience, individuality, and the confidence our girls continue to build through Girl Power Rocks’ programs.
Importantly, our girls were not just participants, they were creators, storytellers, and leaders, owning the moment and sharing their perspectives through art and self-expression.
