Our village rocks and we're not afraid to say it! We believe that a healthy combination of dedicated parents, devoted volunteers and passionate staff we can make a positive influence in the lives of young girls we serve.
We make sure that our programs are equipped with culturally competent instructors, activities and curriculums to ensure that the girls are given the opportunity to not only deepen their understanding of things that interest them, but also expose them to skills and character building activities that will stay with them for life.

Donate Resources
No contribution to Girl Power is too small. A donation of just $10 provides 30 days of after-school transportation for a deserving young girl so she can get the academic and behavioral support to succeed in life.

We rely on our generous donors to provide programming in a variety of empowerment areas, including academic achievement, self-esteem, post arrest diversion, and post-trauma counseling. With your support, we can help make the world a better place, one girl at a time.
Donate Time
Sometimes, the most valuable thing you can give is your time. By volunteering with Girl Power, you can work directly with the promising young women in our programs. Give back to and get in touch with the Miami community by working hand-in-hand with our dedicated staff and deserving young girls.
We accept applicants for our Sister Circle Mentor Program on a rolling basis, and host various volunteer events for caring community members like you.

Donate Supplies
It takes more than just money to keep things going at Girl Power – school supplies, clothing, and personal care items are also big necessities. Our headquarters hosts “The Girl Power Closet,” filled with giveaway items for our young girls to assist them in maintaining a clean and fresh appearance, which in the long run can give them the confidence necessary to meet their academic and personal goals.

Our annual events such as our Brunch Extravaganza and Day Party comprise a significant portion of our fundraising.
